Upset of the night in my book.

Maybe North has a little left in the tank. Nelson Co losing to Central had to be the upset of the night in my book.

This could really throw the playoff race wide open. Central Hardin made a strong push toward 1st place by beating Nelson County tonight, but Greenwood, North Hardin, Nelson County, and Meade County are all jockeying for position with roughly the same record.

Maybe North has a little left in the tank. Nelson Co losing to Central had to be the upset of the night in my book.

 

If Nelson had won that game, then it's an upset. Central Hardin was undefeated.

The majority of people picked nelson to win it. Before this week Central hasn't had a tough opponent. None the less a win is a win and congrats to the bruins.

Greenwood has a very real problem now. If they don't beat Central Hardin, there's a very real chance they could miss the playoffs entirely. Two weeks ago, they looked like the favorite to win the district.

Greenwood would have to win out the rest of the year followed by central losing the rest of the way in order for them to win the district.

Greenwood isn't going to win the district. I'm pretty sure they're just concerned with making the playoffs.

 

BTW, the scenario you described doesn't begin to cover what it would take for Greenwood to win the district. They also would need Nelson County to beat Meade County and North Hardin to beat Nelson County. Then every team would be 2-2 and it would come to tiebreakers.

 

At this point, Greenwood's best scenario is to beat Central Hardin, have Central Hardin to lose to Meade County, and have Nelson County beat North Hardin. Greenwood would get #2 clean.

Its all so confusing.
