IMVHO the biggest potential negative of the draft alignment is the very real possibility that Trinity will no longer play Ballard. We all remember that when Mr. Catlett was the Bruins coach someone? refused to schedule Trinity at the Frosh or JV level. That practice has stopped since Mike Jackson has been coaching there. Will the powers that be in JCPS even allow Ballard to put Trinity on their schedule?

I think they should as it's simply a natural rivalry. I think they will if Coach J is able to make it happen.

Count me as a "Yes." I love this rivalry and want to see it continue in all sports. For me, that's what this is all about... I couldn't care any less if St. X or Male or Holy Cross or Prestonsburg was in our district. I just want to see Ballard in there.

Nice to see that I'm not the only one that wants to continue to play Ballard. I also like playing Male. Too bad Redmon left. I especially liked beating him.

Trinity/Ballard was one of our biggest games back in the 70's when Redman was there. Most of us in St. Matthews consider them to be our biggest county school rival. Coach J has done a fine job in the short time he has been there and actually gets it when it comes to wanting to build a program like Trinity and X instead of complaining about them. I hope they are able to keep them on the schedule.

Honestly, what is the second biggest rivalry that Trinity has other than St. X? Ballard. Keep this game going!!!
