Their main strength is in the trenches. Excellent size along both the offensive and defensive lines. Exceptional quickness especially among the defensive front four. The corners and reciever positions are manned by a pair of cousins, the Canadys. The younger cousin, Jeffrey, was rated the top reciever this summer in camps in both Oklahoma and Alabama. The running back name is Turpin. Decent speed and moves but benches 400 lbs. Tough to bring down. Qb is a jr named Barger. Good scrambler and becoming more accurate as passer each game. Offensive coordinator (and former Mr. Football) Scottie Russell has shown an almost equal fondness of both the run and pass.

This is very true, Knox will be strong and physical. The Raiders have been able to keep it real close for a half {the last 4 years}. Last year it was 7-6 at half time. Then the strenght and mental toughness kicks in and they get blowed away the 2nd half. I Love to be able to say Raiders Win!!!! but I can't, So I will say Raiders play hard and keep your heads up. Like HOP said then get in Wt. Room in the off-season and do something about it.:isurrender::isurrender:

They also have Tyler Bailey at 6'4" 220 senior and MAD DOG 5' 8" about 210 lbs senior. Playing inside line backers.They don't call him MAD DOG for nothing from what I have herd. They both Pack a load when they hit you. They also have a true freshman Gist. He is in the back field. He is quick to the ball and always seems to get that extra yard at the end of his runs.

 

Good post. Too many key players on this team to mention them all. I especially look forward to watching Gist for three more years. Excellent speed, good moves and not afraid of contact.
