Rough night for Slater... 16 yards on 16 carries.

 

Holmes outgained Bellevue 435-114.

 

Sophomore Desean Peterson has 8 catches for 108 yards and both Holmes RB's averaged 10 ypc. (Oden 10 , 28 carriesyards ; Clemons 9 carries, 98 yards)

 

Holmes was simply bigger, stronger, and faster in every aspect of the game.

 

The Dixie and Withrow games should give us a much better feel for where Holmes truly is though. No doubt they're talented enough to beat both.

Walter, do you think Holmes has a shot at winning a title this year?

I'm not Walter but I'll say that it can be done, but there's a tough road to hoe.

As long as Holmes stays healthy and can develop some depth they should have a shot, they have a tought rough though through Lex Cath and the Boyle district!
