Most of the score was in the 1st half.

 

Half time - LexCath 18, Boyle Co. 14.

 

Boyle Co. scoring came on sustained drives. 2 of 3 LexCath scores were off of interceptions. The game was not over until the final horn sounded with LC inside the BC 20 and trying to score. Typical for these two teams - even at the JV level.

Where was this game played at? If it's Boyle / Lex Cath you can always count on a good game.

A question to any more current Lex Cath fans or grads but how serious does Lex Cath take their JV program? Having come up in the Lex Cath program from middle school to varsity, I always felt like JV was only so so in terms of importance. Freshman ball sometimes had more given to it sometimes. The JV team was usually mediocre to poor at least offensively with maybe only one or two younger guys getting any snaps at the JV level who were potential stars coming up at the Varsity level. Defensively Lex Cath was usually a little better on the JV team with many of the younger linebackers or linemen getting a chance to learn the sets and get some extra snaps. I know while I was there the defense was to usually prep the star freshmen and sophmores who were tagged to become starters on the varsity the next season. This was before Coach Letton so no clue if things have changed since he has been in charge. Just wondering.

It has upgraded some. But still not run like an X or T or Highlands. No filming of game, hence no post game review with the players.

Is Marc Logan's son one of the running backs? If so, what number was he? Both running backs looked good for LexCath. I was there and I am kind of surprised Boyle pulled it out. We seemed to be doing everything we could to give the game to LexCath.
