Cory Highfield is the new varsity coach replacing Aaron Stamm who moved onto Conner to coach girls b-ball.

Yes he was. During his time as head coach from 2003 to I believe 2006. He made two regional appearances, won a district championship, and a district runnerup. All this was done when they were still in the tough district with CovCath, Holy Cross, etc.

 

I think the main key for him this year would be to try to get some more boys out for baseball this year. Not many players went out for baseball last year, so they only had a Varsity team and no JV. It will be key to get enough people out to have a JV and Varsity team this year IMO.
