Yes and I heard the same thing in another report.

The report is quite vague and I don't necessarily buy it without some more supporting details.

Why would you not believe it? I'm guessing that company that came up w/ that pitch is better at this than you and me sitting here in lovely Kentucky. Lebron was told the details. So it really comes down to if he buys it or not. One thing for sure about this Lebron thing is he knows Boston and Orlando are going to be tough to get past. He knows the Lakers are even tougher to beat over the next three years. If he can't convince Bosh to go Cleveland in a sign and trade and Bosh and Wade join up in Chicago or Miami how does he win a title in Cleveland in the next 3 years?

My opinion is that Wade joins Amare' in New York, Bosh goes to Chicago, and James stays in Cleveland with the Cavs signing Haywood/Boozer/Lee and clears some cap space to go at Carmelo next year. This way it makes many more rivalries in the NBA and will skyrocket its level of popularity. This is what these guys truely want. They want it to be like the 90's again and this is the only way for that to happen.

No way that happens.

1st. Wade will end up in Miami along with Chris Bosh and others, possibly Lebron.

2nd. Bosh will not separate and go to Chicago by himself. That would be pointless. He will join either Wade or Lebron. Most likely Wade.

3rd. Lebron may end up going back to the Cavs but there is no chance that Carmelo joins him. Absolutely no chance of that happening.

Bosh with Rose and a couple other complimenting players could make them a championship caliber team. And Carmelo may be a stretch but not out of the realm possibillity. And i just have a feeling Wade becomes a Knick with Amare. It makes all the major market teams contenders and back the the Melo argument maybe seeing him in a Celtics jersey next year really makes the league interesting? Just some thoughts to consider.

What I'm saying is that we'll never see Carmelo and Lebron on the same team end of story.

Bosh and Rose does not equal a championship team. They would be a good team but other teams still beat them with matchups.

Carmelo signing with Boston could happen but we'll have to wait and see because in the end I see Carmelo signing a 3 year extension with the Nuggets.

With the new CBA coming, Melo would be stupid to pass up on the contract extension. If he REALLY wants to leave he can force the issue and ultimately the Nuggets would have to look into trading him.

Exactly.

With Bosh and Wade going to Heat this makes Lebron's signing a little more interesting.

I see no way he goes back to the Cavs now, ultimately because he will have little to no help and most of the East is getting better.

Still possible of the mega-team down in Miami and it makes sense that Wade and Bosh sign first to go ahead a commit.

Could he now be more likely to land with the Knicks to team with Amar'e to help counteract Wade-Bosh?

Bulls seem less likely even if they could get Boozer as well. They'd need to add Lebron-Boozer-Redick-? in order to compete.

Nets are in a similar situation as the Bulls with needing to add some more pieces.

I think Stephen A. Smith had it right last week that the big 3 agreed to go together to Miami. I think LBJ was told by someone after that his legacy wouldn't be the same if he had a side kick as good as Wade and he'd always be one title behind him. Then LBJ pushed hard for the sign and trade and Bosh despised the idea of going to Cleveland. So it leaves LBJ only a few options. Stay and never win a title. Go to Miami and be part of the great 3. Go to NY/NJ anf be a Billionaire. If he stays in Cleveland I htink he'll be in Brooklyn in 3 years. The big question for LBJ has to be could he ever convince a really good young player to co to Cleveland if they opened the cap space. The answer is probably no.
