July 1, 201016 yr If true I really hope Verizon offers better service for the Iphone then AT&T. I love my Iphone but AT&T's service for it is TERRIBLE! I use to never have a complaint about AT&T's service until I got the Iphone. I was in Destin several weeks ago and my phone showed full signal on 3G but I couldn't make a call, send a text and the data wasn't working. I tried turning it off and back on but nothing. Still full signal but couldn't do anything. It's happened a couple of times since. I have had times where the signal strength would go up and down and I would never move. You could watch the bars go all the way up then all the way down until it said Searching... Not to mention they have probably less then 5% 3G coverage. I am on Verizon (after they bought Cellular One) and I must say the service is second to none. I drive back and forth everyday from London to Jackson County and nobody used to get service for 80% of that trip. Now, I have service in places I never got service before. I am thrilled with the coverage I get. I hope they get the Iphone because my contract is up next summer and would love one, .... but I won't give up the tremendous reception I get with Verizon for it. My daughter is on AT&T and has an Iphone. Loves the phone but wants to switch to Verizon as she loses coverage constantly on AT&T.
July 15, 201016 yr Author Got my Droid X today. It's unbelievable. Only problem is I don't know why my camera isn't working? :irked: Verizon will gladly give me a new one if it's not functioning correctly so I'm not too worried about it. As far as the rest of the phone, it's awesome. Super fast and the screen looks like a movie theatre compared to some of my old phones. Need big hands to use one of these things those.
