What does Mercer County need to do to improve in

2010?

What do they need to keep doing to be successful? Remember, please be constructive.

That is what I have heard as well. Anxious to see how it all plays out, I know that the team has been in the weightroom all off season went through a spring practice and are currently doing the june activities. Talking to the kids and the coaches the attitudes are great and there seems to be an excitement surrounding the program. Hopefully that translates to success on the field!

I believe there are only 6 seniors on the team, and one of them is the kicker. A 5A school with only 5 senior position players is in deep trouble.

I heard they have over 80 kids out for the team...with 5 seniors that might not be a bad thing...Mercer might struggle a little early but it will benefit in the end..plus a carry over into the next. I'm sure Coach Mason is steering those guys in the right direction...he is like nova caine give it some time...it will always work.

I'd love to see Mercer have a good year. At the very least show some improvement from last year. They will be the first team to play on Boyle County's new field.

I don't believe there are 80 out now, but I believe they anticipate getting to around that number. I think they will be fine, the senior class is small, but they have 3 really nice classes in a row from the Freshman through Junior if they continue to work as they have they will be fine.

I agree. To go even further, they have some nice young talent in the middle school ranks as well. Talent wise, Mercer should be fine for at least the next 6 years.
