If wins over these two in districts and finishing 2-3 constitutes a run, possibly. Do you have any stats for Justice or whoever replaced him in the lineup? I don't know who took his place but if it was Stephenson, that kid will be an impact player.

No stats on any players as Greenup Co. as they don't keep stats.

That's great and I hope all works out for him, but like I said I have not ever heard of this happening before, but have heard the rumors of this case.

If he does get to play one would think he will need a lot of rehab on the court, even with summer ball it will be a challenge. Hope it happens for him. :thumb:

You could make a case for Elliott having potentially four of the regions top ten players on their roster: Knipp, Nickell and Ison are certain but Fraley was just a sophmore with a huge upside. The question for me is how much better can Timmy Knipp get? At times and spurts this year he was on a different level and with a spring/summer to improve I could see him averaging over 40 a game this year!

TK is great, but too many weapons on his team for him to average 40. Plus I don't think other coaches would allow him to do this, simply focusing the defense on him and slowing the game down when they have the ball. I hope he keeps improving over the summer!

The next steps in Timmy's game IMO are:

-Add more athleticism. He looks like a world class athlete in the 16th region, but his athleticism for the next level is average. He needs to increase his speed and jumping ability before next season.

-I think he needs to slow down a little when he has the ball. He has good shooters around him and that post player isn't bad at all. If he takes his time a little more often I think he would become a more efficient scorer and would get a ton of assist hitting the open man.

I really like Timmy but I think if he did those two things it wouldn't really matter what 16th region coaches try next year. He's a very good player but still has tons of untapped potential.

I think you hit the nail on the head with just "slowing" down, especially when he gets into the paint with the ball. How many times this season would he drive at full gear and then sling up a shot on the move? Has to have a strong jump stop then explode up with the ball, needs to add more leg strength to do this on a consistent basis especially late in games.

As for Ison and Nickell both need more strength and more confidence in their individual abilities. They're are both capable players but need to believe that themselves. Question for Elliott is, who is their starting two guard?

That is part of what I'm saying. To be a D1 player on the wing you have to have a ton of ways to score. Timmy scores in bunches, but the 16th region is about as low on the basketball totem-pole as it gets in reality. I think he just needs to keep adding things to his game. He needs to continue to work on creating shots. With his height he can shoot over alot of players in EKY, but it' not that way at the college level. The more different ways he has to score in his arsenal the better he'll be in college.

Knipp and Terry are at the top in the 16th. A lot of distance between these two and the rest of the pack. Not saying that there arent other good players in the 16th..... just saying these two are definitely at the top.
