How could any team from a major conference bring him to coach their team, unless he brings an excellent x's and o's guy with him.

And a recruiter ,If I am not mistaken his recruiter at LSU was Donnie TynDall.

I didn't say that, but I'm pretty sure the assistant who brought in the Louisiana talent was Butch Pierre, who is now on Travis Ford's staff at Oklahoma State.

Why make the move to Auburn if you're Purnell? Clemson is a fine job. Additionally, it's not much of an upgrade for Auburn. Purnell consistently underachieves.

There are probably a few better candidates that are minority, if you ask me.
