Male has tremendous potential - one of the largest schools in the state - no reason the girls bball cannot compete. You would think the same thing could be said at Eastern - boys program there is obviously very successful - but the past 2 coaches have had serious problems with discipline.

 

As for candidates at Male, I could see it spurring a lot of interest. Does Fern Creek's Michelle Fries try as she is an alumnus/former Lady Bulldog?

Granted that Male should be better than they have been, but to say that they have tremendous potential is an overstatement. See the football thread about this and you will understand why Male girls basketball will not be a power like they once were.

 

Given the two choices, I think Eastern has more potential to be successful than Male.

From the outside looking in, i would think that Male should have tremendous potential in every sport. With the number of kids they can choose from, they should be competitive accross the board.
