Ludlow made a good attempt to stop Villa's top players but Morgan Cook came up big with 17 points and the experienced players kept their cool and just played though all of the shenanigans for the win tonight. Making Regionals (and doing it as the #1 seeded team) is a huge accomplishment for Villa's very small and academically focused school. Great job Blue Lightning!!!!

why did they need to keep cool? what happened? Villa is the Senior dominated team.

Shenanigans? Please explain.

Congratulations to Villa! Now let's here about the shenanigans.

Come on I feel like I am watching South Park....

Congrats to the Blue Lightning.

My only guess on shenanigans would be leaving Cook so open. They looked to double team (and sometimes triple team) some of Villa's leading ladies. Leaving Cook wide open. She took advantage and had one of the best games of her career.

Ludlow also looked to slow down the game as well.

Only a guess at the shenanigians.

Once again congrats and good luck Friday to the blue lightning.

Congrats to my favorite small school team in the Region! Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of young ladies and old coaches!

Go Villa! Congrats to Morgan.

Wish I could be there for the final, should be a great game vs. St. Henry.

If your going to make a statement like this, then you should at least explain it. I sure hope your not trying to say Ludlow slowing down the game, and trying to make people besides Villa's best players beat them was shenanigans. Considering Villa won the first two games these two teams played rather easily, it sounds like the Ludlow coaches did a great job at having a game plan at giving their team a chance to win. It was only a 6 point game at halftime I believe, so that shows what they did worked and did give them a chance. So no shenanigans at all.

Also will a mod. please change the title of this thread. There is a proper way to post game threads, and this was not it.

I also would like to add thank you to the Seniors at Ludlow. They had a great career while at Ludlow, and while this year was kind of tough. They had been apart of a lot of very successful teams while playing at Ludlow. You all had great careers, and will be missed.
