Grant County/Walton-Verona Predictions

I'll say Grant by 12. Mike Davis had a solid game when they played earlier and he'll dominate the boards.

While I'm sure many Grant County fans would love to see Davis repeat his 20 pt. effort from the last time, I don't know that it's a given he'll be able to do it. And even if he does (like he did the last time)...they still lost the last time.

Grant County will have to come to play D. If they play like they did against Gallatin on Saturday, Walton's guards will have a big night.

So, until the Braves can show me they can defend...I'll take the Bearcats by 7.

Interesting comment about Davis dominating the boards. Walton outrebounded the Braves by 6. Davis did have a good game with 20 pts and 10 rebounds. However, his matchup-Burns had 19 points and 12 rebounds so I am not so sure he "dominated the boards". Also Ponzer had 22 points for the Bearcats on top of that to Wartmans 20.

However, the past game means nothing so that is why we will see a great game tomorrow night!!

Walton is playing well at the right time. They have the home court advantage and should win by 10.

Braves MUST come out the first half with a purpose. Wartman, who had 20 pts and 12 rebounds last game, and Davis who had 20 pts and 10 rebounds, have to do a good job on the boards again. Grants guards must control the tempo of the game.
