Scott 46 Bishop Brossart 32

Featured Replies

Scott started slow but gained control with their size inside. Stinson and Tibbs were too much inside. Tibbs had a triple double with 22 points/14 rebounds and 10 blocks. I do not have Stinson's final stats but I am sure she had a double/double. This win creates an interesting situation in the district seeding. I have heard there will be a coin toss to determine the number one seed. (Brossart def. Camp. Co/ Camp. Co def Scott/ Scott def. Brossart)

I have to say this score surprises me. I guess Scott realized Tibbs needs the ball a lot more than what they were giving it to her.

Scott 46, Bishop Brossart 32

Tibbs is still the most dominating player in Northern Kentucky Girls BBall.

I agree with you however, when Scott played Campbell County a couple of nights ago they did not utilize her at all. She should have gotten the ball the majority of the time on offense and I would say she got it about the 1/4 of the time Scott had the ball on offense.

I would rank them this way:

Moss

Tibbs

Sandfoss

Allen

Towles/Crittenden

Moss plays through a tougher schedule and will most likely lead Boone to the 9th region title. Both Tibbs and Moss light it up on offense but Moss is only averaging about 3 quarters of play per game.

But the talent in this group overall is awesome.

I am wondering if the reason she did not get it only a quarter of the time was due to their starting point guard being injured. Just a thought.

Maybe it was the good Campbell Co. defense that prevented her from having more touches?

Good point Peters is a strong player for Campbell. She defends Tibbs as well as anyone can.

You know unfortunately, I was not at the game, but in past games I have seen against Scott and Campbell, watching Tibbs and Peters go at it has always been fun to watch. I am not sure what the size difference is between the 2. Depending on how the coin toss turns out, Scott and Campbell may play each other again come district time. Good luck to both teams the rest of the season.

Could be but there were times she was open and she never got the ball. It just wasn't her PG who did not give her the ball. I will say Peters played her well but I would have to say the majority of the time Tibbs got the ball she could not be stopped.
