Owsley County hosts Wolfe County tonight in the All A. The winner advances to the semi's at Breathitt County this weekend.

The two teams aren't scheduled to play this year during the regular season. They have played a home and home since the 1940's when they were in the same district.

It feels a little odd not having the Wolves on the schedule.

Wolfe vs. Owlsey will be an excellent game in Booneville. If Buckhorn beats Jackson City, it will be a very good semi-final match-up between Buckhorn and Wolfe or Owsley.

The factor I am looking for in deciding the winner of this 14th region All A is which team has the deeper bench that will stepup and play. The schedule for this tourn. is the semis. to be played Sat. at Midday with the finals Sat. night. IMO should of had a better schedule worked out. This is a tourn. setup for smaller schools that a lot of times do not have a full roster nor a lot of experienced older players. Buckhorn and Hazard in the finals and on a neutral court it is hard to pick a winner is my prediction.
