In the past four years, only Conner and Boone have been out of Districts at least two out of four years. Ryle has historically been the most disappointing of all the schools. I don't know if it is the coach because even Nate Niemi struggled with this problem. Maybe, it is the kids who have the problem. They don't get up for many games and seem to lose some they shouldn't ever year.

 

 

I didn't realize both Boone and Ryle had struggled so much in district play during recent seasons. Boone only to the region once in five years, and I guess Ryle only once in the last four.

 

Simon Kenton made their last ninth region appearance in 2003, so they are out of the equation. I know St. Henry was in the district until last year, but they haven't been really good since 2003. Seems like Boone and Ryle would have made it more often, especially with the run of talent they've had (or maybe it's the run of talent people think they've had). :idunno:

 

If I follow Boone and Ryle, I expect to make it to the regional tournament more than once every four or five years, and I think that's a fair expectation.
