Did Joe B. Hall ever coach High School Football ?

Featured Replies

I sent a note to him, will see if he answers, all things on internet say Shepardsville was first

The thread title ask if he ever coached high school football though.

And I answered that he coached at Shephersville HS. That's where my mom went to HS, and that's who was coach when she was there. I don't understand the confusion?

Your quote below seems like you are talking about him coaching basketball :D

Y'all are funny! He coached boys basketball, you comedians. And, even if he'd coached girls,

I just realized this was in the football forum. I never even thought it would be in football, and just assumed it was in basketball. My bad. No clue on football.

Per Coach Hall-He did not coach at Bagdad, played them once, Started at Shepardsville, and did one year of football.

Yes, at Shepherdsville High School. He coached there when my mother attended.

Ok I called a cousin of mine in Lexington today and he just called me back on this, Joe B is a second or third cousin (I forgot which, yes I can confirm this too :) )

You are correct, I think without even knowing it, lol. Joe B did coach football as well at Shephardsville HS. He was not sure what year though, but he thought he was there 1955-59.

And you did not get their joke either. :sssh:
