Kentucky Player of the Game was Markel Walker. Nice player. Did a great job. Would like to know what colleges are interested because they certainly should be.

 

Great day for football. Perfact temperature. Muddy field though. Kentucky passed the ball alot. West looked great as did Dylan Curry of Western High School. West got alot of reps. Dylan not so much but really should have been in the mix more. Kentucky for some reason just really wanted to stick to the passing game.:confused:

 

With field conditions I would have thought they should have run the ball more than they did. They had great running backs in Hayden and Raglin. Would have put those two in a two back set and run the ball on the muddy field. What do I know though. Never played the game.

 

Raglin ran the opening kick off back to about the 37. That was pretty much all you saw of him was on kick offs. :confused:

 

All in all a nice day. We'll get'em next year.

Showcasing is a understatement. I'am sure there is several college coaches in both states talking about this one. Team ! ! !

there were no D1 schools in attendance as this is a "NCAA D1 Quiet Period" and they are not allowed to view all star games. According to 1AA or NAIA rules, only colleges within the state are allowed to attend - My son talked to Union College and that was pretty much it. Last time I saw the option used this much was in the movie, We Are Marshall !!:banana:

You could watch the game on tv or online.

The kids from Kentucky did a great job - the adults is a whole other story...
