For Lloyd, nice to see frosh PG Nico Carter with 11 points. He is lightning fast.

Flashes of defensive attitude--Carroll, Thorburn, Bessler on Cheadum in post area, Jake Hils' pressure on Nico in 2nd half gave Cru a real lift. He can wear anyone out at the point. Keep it up Cru.

Seems St. Henry got some balance scoring out of Andrerson, Barnett, & Carroll with Bessler just missing out on double figures.This is the time of year were Coach Faust starts getting the most out of his kids. St. Henry has a big 2 weeks coming up before the All A so hopefully this is the game that turns their season around.

I know St. Henry is playing at a faster pace this year than most years and that could lead to some bad defense. But giving up 61pts to a lesser talented Lloyd team has to irk Coach Faust a little.

 

But at this point a wins a win I guess. Keep it up tonight and keep getting better. I think this team is very close to being pretty darn good.
