Game was really never in doubt and with CovCath missing Pauly and Connelly due to sickness they missed them tonight.

 

Thelen and Wellbrock had there way under the basketball tonight as the stats show, but Cooper kept plugging away to keep the game from getting totally out of reach until the end of the game.

 

#5 Langley impressed the heck out of me tonight by continually driving to the basketball and making his shots. Great job young man!

 

Also a great job by Trey Evans tonight! While he only scored 1 point, he did a lot of the little things right tonight, that don't show up on the score board but are the difference in his team wining or losing a game!

 

Was glad to see Brett Riedinger in the game tonight and see him hit a trey then hit six straight Free Throws.

 

All in all not a great game by CovCath but a win is a win.

 

CovCath welcomes Ft. Thomas Highlands to CovCath this coming Tuesday Jan 5 for a triple header starting at 4:15pm with the Frosh of CovCath playing the Bluebirds Frosh.

All the new Boone County gyms are built the same, and yes I like the different view. It is still hard to beat the floor level though.

Thelen is a 20 point machine, I don't know what I'd feel more comfortable betting on, Thelen getting 20 or Welbrock getting 10 rebounds.

His shooting percentage has to be very high. He often powers in but his jumper is also deadly.
