The Lady Eagles won the Pulaski Co. Holiday tournament with a hard fought win this afternoon vs. the host school Pulaski Co (10-3). The Eagles were without Taylor Stinson who went home earlier in the day sick. The game went to overtime. Tibbs led the Eagles with 31 points and 16 rebounds. Stinson, Jackson and Tibbs were named to the all tournament team. Overcame some adversity and won a good one. Good team effort!!!

Great win Scott or great Scott a win? Nice to see you guys rolling and doing so without your shooting guard. Keep lighting it up Ms Tibbs!

Kelsey Bamforth was also named to the All Tournament Team. Sorry for the omission. She has really handled the point guard responsibilities really well.

Even with the loss, the Maroons are light years better this year than last. This is a team that only won 4 games all year long. Already a 7 game win streak(being snapped yesterday). Congratulations to Coach Miller and the young Maroons. You are going to see many more Ws this year.

No doubt about that Kelsey is a true point guard.

When you have a dominating tall girl inside the point guard position is essential to victories. Solid guard play opens it up for Tibbs and should make the tenth very interesting this year.

Tibbs is very impressive. Great footwork, goes to either side extremely well. Any ideas where she is looking at going to school?

From what I hear this game was a shot away from double overtime.....

Rumors abound but someone on the inside will have to give us a list of potential schools.

I am guessing that Papa Bear would have some knowledge of the potential schools.

No doubt but it may not be a fair spot to put him in.

I know that she has 10 official offers. Conferences include SEC, Big 10, Big East, MAC, Sun Belt. Her family has said that there are probably 15-20 other schools that are still evaluating her and most of those schools are in the same conferences. There are a couple of ACC schools as well. From conversations with Lauren, it has been a very exciting but challenging experience so far. Lauren has a very difficult decision ahead for her. She has certainly handled it very well.

Ms. Tibbs in not only a great player with a great future, but she is a tremendous young lady who handles herself incredibly well on and off the floor. I wish her nothing but the best!!!
