To be fair, if you combine Favre's stats from the last three games of each of the last 4 seasons, his TD/Int ratio is 1/3...that's right, 1/3....8 TD's and 24 Int's. His totals from his last two playoff appearances are better, 6 TD's and 6 Int's.

The point is, when people say he'll wear down, that's what they're basing it on. Favre's play has dipped considerably down the stretch the last few seasons. Obviously, he had the injury last year and that's a valid excuse, but what about the three seasons prior to that.

I'm not saying that I believe he'll fade down the stretch. I don't. Just pointing out that when people say that, they're not just pulling it out of a hat because Favre is old...there is support for that statement.

Brees was my preseason pick for MVP...

In all honesty, he was mine too. He's been on my fantasy team in Godot's league since I took a chance on him with a bum shoulder coming to the Saints.

2005 & 2006 the Packers were not very good as a team. In those two seasons Farve was 2/13 TD/INT. In 2005 he went 20/29 for the season so it wasn't just wearing down at the end. He stunk the whole season. He wasn't much better in 2006 going 18/18 on the season. In 2007 Farve played very well. He was 4/4 the last three and was 5/2 in the playoffs making it to NFC title game where he threw both Int's against the evenual SB champs. He also made it to the Pro Bowl. In 2008 he had the injury.

So 2008 would be the only arguement for him wearing down and that was due more so to the injury.

I had my own theories about where they were pulling them from....
