In all seriousness, concussions have been known to end careers earlier than expected. Big Ben could be one big one from seriously considering not playing anymore. I would honestly hate to see it, outside of the jersey he wears, he seems like a quality guy.

 

Whether I like the team or the player, I hate to see great players out with injuries. The 2008 NFL season took a huge hit with Tom Brady sidelined, IMO.

Agreed he is a classy guy. It is kinda ironic the NFL is cracking down on the whole concussion thing now. Adding a neurologist to NFL teams, they may even make it a rule where they can't go back in the game with symptoms. Currently I think you have to get knocked out.

I thought I read an article on ESPN earlier today that stated they're trying to add a rule that if you're knocked out of a game due to concussion symptoms, you automatically miss at least a week.

Yeah something like that.. all I know is all of a sudden they are cracking down. I really like the teams have a neurologist.
