Perhaps it wasn't a planned 2-pt play... such as a bad snap for the XP that HHS converted into a 2-pt play.

Because Mueller couldn't figure out how to go for 3...probably followed with an onsides kick. Like watching an Aaron Pryor fight. Clobber them as soon as the bell rings.
