November 13, 200916 yr Who knew. From Chistianity Today's interview with Ms. Prejean. http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2009/novemberweb-only/145-22.0.html?start=4 You wrote that you don't regret getting breast implants. Have you ever wondered whether it might be incompatible with your Christian faith? No, I don't think there's anything wrong with getting breast implants as a Christian. I think it's a personal decision. I don't see anywhere in the Bible where it says you shouldn't get breast implants. Edited November 13, 200916 yr by Clyde
November 13, 200916 yr You sure do post a bunch of links about her Clyde. Thanks. Apparently, I only read the last 2 pages of the article, but I agreed with virtually everything she was saying. And there weren't even any pictures.

November 13, 200916 yr Seriously though, this girl has been given a pretty hard time. She took a stance in the heat of the moment, on the biggest stage of her life (literally & figuratively). She has gotten plenty of criticism, and rightfully so to an extent; however, when do we get over it? We've had interview after interview where things didn't go that smoothly. And honestly, how could they? What she said concerns a very highly controversial with two of the most extreme opinions that you'll find politically. Some controversy she's handled very well. For others, her conduct and comments are probably better left to herself. But that's bound to happen when you interview a 22 year old girl that often. Apparently she was on Larry King Live either today or yesterday. I heard a clip of the interview on the radio. Larry King asked her why she took the money in the settlement if she really believed in what she arguing. Valid question, but that could be said about many lawsuits. Anyway, Carrie Prejean said that the terms of the settlement were confidential and that she could not discuss anything related to it. I think that's too broad of a statement, but the point remains that it wasn't a topic that she wanted to talk in-depth about, nor was she privileged to. I believe that she told Larry King (or his producer) this before she went on the show. Nevertheless, she was asked about it. She told Larry King that he was being inappropriate and ultimately took her microphone off & walked off the stage as a gay man from Detroit was calling in. That's all I heard... My point is that she gets a hard time and is in a no win situation. Gays and liberals (among others) have used her as a sort of whipping boy, if you will. I think they should get off of her & get back to how to resolve the issues at hand. As difficult as that may be.
November 13, 200916 yr Well, it does say this: Genesis 7:20 The waters rose and covered the mountains to a depth of more than twenty feet.

Larry was asking a completely valid question about why she settled, not about the terms and she made herself look like a complete moron. I don't know if Larry was asked not to mention it beforehand but either way her competence was once again left in question.
November 13, 200916 yr Philippians 2:3–4 (NIV) 3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.
November 13, 200916 yr Larry was asking a completely valid question about why she settled, not about the terms and she made herself look like a complete moron. I don't know if Larry was asked not to mention it beforehand but either way her competence was once again left in question. I agree that it was a valid question and that she reacted poorly. I got the impression that she had told Larry (or someone with the show) that she did not, nor was she allowed to, speak about it. I think that's fair. If it was a sticking point for Larry having her own his show, he should have told her that. If not, then either negotiate it, leave it out, or don't have her on the show.

I agree for the most part but he did move on after giving her several attempts to form a coherent response either way and then she still didn't cooperate. She is a moron.

November 13, 200916 yr She's a beauty pageant contestant, not a talk show host or politician... Take it for what it's worth. And yet she's writing books, going on national television and traveling the country speaking at events. Maybe she should go back to just looking pretty if she can't handle the pressure. It's obviously the best choice suited for her.

Maybe she should go back to just looking pretty if she can't handle the pressure. It's obviously the best choice suited for her. Due to the controversial nature of the subject & the fact that she's young & pretty, I'd imagine she's getting approached with many of those opportunities. Should she say no? During Ms. Prejean's speaking events, is the topic gay marriage? I honestly don't know, but would be shocked if it was.

During Ms. Prejean's speaking events, is the topic gay marriage? I honestly don't know, but would be shocked if it was. She should say whatever she wants but she should be prepared to handle what comes with the territory. If you're going to publicly speak out against gay marriage, then go on a national news show with callers, you should be prepared for a question about gay marriage, it's only common sense. Although she never even heard the question because she took her mic off before the question was even posed to her. She has been speaking at conservative Christian events lately so I suppose the issue could have come up there as well but I really can't say either way.
November 13, 200916 yr Historical documents show that in the years between 200 BC and 100 BC the Roman emporer Boobius Maximus persecuted many flat chested women. Many people don't realize that this persecution is what led to the eventual popularity of breast enlargement.
