Coach Berner will be the new Head Basketball coach at Fort Campbell, Hopefully he can bring a turnaround to the basketball program and get it to the same status that he has brought to the football program.

He has loads of talent on the football field and he gets the maximum out of them. If any of those kids can play basketball, and you have to think that they can, then he should get a great deal of out them on the hardwood, too. One thing that hurts Fort Campbell is that they are in a district with three long-time basketball powers (Christian County, Hopkinsville, and University Heights).

Not at all. The Assistants are running practice for the first hour until he finishes with football practice. Then he joins the basketball team and finishes the day up with them.
