I guess this one depends on the final tally of opponents’ wins, and that’s math that’s out of my league. Lafayette’s opponents have 6 wins. Station’s have 25, with the possibility of two more. Scott Co. has 22, with a chance at six more. At least I think I’ve read this right.

Jim, thank you so much for posting this. The way we have beat up on each other....I didn't know some of the pairings.

 

GRC has beaten Tates Creek, Henry Clay,Lafayette and Madison Central. Losses to Dunbar, Bryan Station, and Scott Co.

 

GRC will face Dunbar in the first round of the playoffs and want to avenge that loss. The way GRC has been playing the last 4 game I believe they will.

 

The Lafayette vs Henry Clay will be a good game.

I still see a chance that Bryan Station and Scott County will be tied after next week's games: If Scott County defeats Fern Creek, they will have 28 points. If Bryan Station defeats N. Hardin, they will have 27 points.

It looks like the Oldham Co. - Shelby Co. game should give someone a leg up. Just looking at the matchups you have to like Station's chances at the 1 seed.

Lafayette beat Henry Clay. How do their opponents only have 6 points?

See, that's why I knew I would screw it up before I even started. Too darned much math involved.

 

Why does the tiebreaker system have to be so convoluted?

Take 4 teams that you have beaten, excluding those teams you are in tie with, and add their number of wins up. If after doing this and are still tied, you can bring a 5th team into it.

Right now looks like BS with 22 SC with 19 and Laf with 13. Appears that Laf will finish 3rd since they have OPEN this weekend.
