Lions improve to 4-5 on the season, 3-2 in the district. Win effectively clinches the number two spot in the district standings. The Lions will play the loser of tonight's Estill County/Powell County game. With the loss Casey County will miss the playoffs.

Casey lead most of game but came up short. Casey had a 65 TD call back, which was a bad call. Both teams played lights out.

Sounded like a great game! Nobody was hardly giving Casey County a chance. Always good to hear that both teams left it on the field! :thumb:

It was right down from me. The Casey kid definitely blocked in the back; not a bad call. The problem for me with the call was that it was about 20 yards behind the play. It had no bearing on what the receiver was going to do with the ball.

 

What was lost in the play was what a great catch the Casey kid made. For a team that never throws the ball, Casey's receivers made a couple great catches tonight.

Great game. One at the end of the game was made by a senior. It was his first catch ever.
