One-third of Conner's total offense was gained during their last two (successful) desperation drives with less then 2-minutes left in the game after Ryle was up 31 - 7. They were nice drives. Makes you wonder where they were for the first 46 minutes?

 

They were their throughout the game! Three other trips to the redzone, one nice defensive stand by the Raiders, but two other dropped passes in the endzone!! :puke: Wide open! :puke: and a missed field goal! Ryle deserved the win, bottom line they flatout executed better than Conner! As far as a running game pleaseee! With exception of two games this year when does conner ever try to establish a running game!:idunno: Good luck to both teams in the playoffs!:banana:

Ryle also missed on opportunites in the red zone, missing on a 4th and 1 from the Conner 9yd line and a lost fumble on a brilliant run by Keefer Eubanks only to lose it inside the Conner 20. So, Ryle easily left points off the board as well.

 

Most of Conner's missed opportunities were unforced errors, granted Ryle did get some good pressure on West! The two times you are talking about were a direct result of Conner's defense!:laugh:

This game was not close. Ryle was much better last night and they left many points on the field. I also disagree that Conner moved the ball up and down the field all night. They moved the ball well at times, many of which when the outcome had already been decided. Conner is a good team but Ryle was better in all phases.

 

342 yards passing, thats not movtng the ball? Conner is not very good in the redzone, again they were simply out executed!

What was up with Conner's D line chop blocking??? They did it at least 6 times. It is only my opinion but no matter who you were pulling for that's a cheap shot that puts a player at great risk of a knee injury. If you can't move them you try to cause an injury????? I would not expected Coach T to promote that. The ref warned them or at least appeared so but never threw a flag, which he should have.:ohbrother:

 

I understand the frustration and worry for the player's safety, and wasn't at the game, but if it is just the D-Line diving toward the legs of Ryle, I do not see a problem with it. Like I said, I wasn't their so I do not know how they were diving at Ryle's O-Line, but it is a very strategic move in running situations if you give up size on the DL or are just simply getting blown off the ball. I've seen numerous coaches using that or "bear crawls." But if they were cheap shots then that is a little too much I think.:thumb:
