R. Carter took the opening kickoff back for 80 yards to give Greenup County a quick 6-0 lead. Lawrence County answered right back with a 48 yard score, and had a two point conversion to make it 8-6. On the touchdown play a Lawrence County player was badly injured, and laid motionless on the field for several minutes before the paramedics arrived. I hope to get an update on him soon. Let's pray for this young man.

Greenup Co. must have gotten stuck in the mud the first half. Lawrence Co. must be doing a nice job on defense haven`t heard anything out of Carter since the opening kick off.
