any stats on the game??

Western:

O. Wilson 6-11 190 yards 3 TD 0 INT / 7 rushes 99 yards 2 TD

D. Turner 19 carries 142 yards 2 TD

C. Ricketts 3 catches 85 yards 2 TD

L. Melvin 3 interceptions (7 for the season)

Fairdale

B. Vincent 12-21 313 yards 3 TD 3 INT

Melvin is pretty good. I seen him play since he was in little leauge. No surprise to me that Western Blew Fairdale out. Coach Boyd and staff have done a good job.

Fairdale likes to gamble on defense, stacking 10 - even 11 - players in the box. Don't know if they did so against Western, but Oldham County exploited this for 350 yards rushing...I would imagine the blisteringly-fast Warriors could have really had fun with this if they broke the initial defensive line...

No question about that. But, they run a 'pretty horrible sideline." One day they are going to encounter some Ref's who won't tolerate it and it will cost them. IMVHO
