Should be a great game. Both teams 3-0 right now. LC ranked 8 in the state in rushing while SV is ranked 10th and 3rd against the run. Valley has 2 backs averaging over 165yds rushing a game while LC is led by a stable of backs and a great Oline. Both teams have been playing well on both sides of the ball.

I posted here to let anybody that has been involved with Chuke Williams to know that we are honoring him and the guys that have been elected to the LC Hall of Fame. Chuke's cancer has spread bad and we are hoping he will be able to make it out. We will be having a gathering at the school library for any past players, people that coached with him or friends at 5:30. He's been a big part of the LC tradition so I expect one of our best crowds we have seen in the past decade. I also ask that you keep him and his family in your prayers.

Going to be a great night for football!

Hey stick1, who else is inducted to the LC Hall of Fame?

As far as I know it's not based on what players did at LC. The criteria the way I understand is that you had to play in college, get some clock and graduate still on the team.

Pretty sure it's:

Kyle Barnette, Stu + JR Cook, James Storts, Gerad Parker, Dontae Wright, Alan Short, Brad Derifield and Mike McCreary. Not sure other than that.

Best wishes to Chuke and his family, few know the running game as well as Chuke.

On another note, Lawrence will crush Valley. Not in the same league....

Shelby Valley 14-12.

I am going with Lawrence Co. in this one. IMO they turned the corner with the program that huge win over Sheldon Clark a couple of weeks ago. I also believe that the Bulldogs will win their district this year.

On another and more important note.......May God Bless and comfort Chuke Williams, he is in our prayers at the Ramblers household along with all Raceland fans.

The LC Bulldogs seem to be loaded this. On a side note. We will be thinking of you guys and your former coach Williams. I read that he was really sick. He was a worrier of a coach. I'm sure he will be as tough on this as he was on a lot of you while you played under him. Good luck to all of you.

GO BULLDOGS

Are Jason Michael and Phillip Ratliff already in?

Glad to see to Mike McCreary get in. He was the first LC grad I know of that won a National Championship in college.

Little ole Lawrence County has had 3 players that won National Championships in College.

On a serious note: Being around LC football alot during Chuke's time there, my thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

Yes Jason and Phil are in. Phil won a championship coaching too. Jason is coaching with the 49ers now.

Good luck to both tonight IMO this will be a good match up. Lawrence Co. has got things

headed in the right direction & both teams are off to a good start @ 3-0. Shelby Valley is no stranger to tough games Coach Norman will have his team ready to play.
