Whether the braves make the playoffs or not it was a good year in my opinion.

It was a positive step, the first one in a while. The pitching has been very encouraging. I think we'll all continue to sit around and wonder what if they don't play the way they did against the Reds. The good news is that they've got a bunch of games against Washington, so there's still a shot. They need to win the next two against Philly though.

This was a good year but it means nothing if the Braves don't keep this good pitching staff together, and add some power to the lineup.

They need to keep most of the rotation intact, and add some relievers. They also need to re-sign LaRoche or at least add another big hitter at first. They also need a 2nd baseman, and a left fielder and maybe a 3rd baseman.

Braves are up 4-0 on the Phillies right now.

Phils put a scare into Atlanta as Soriano gives up 4 in the 9th, but the Braves get the much needed win. They've lost 2 of 3 to Philly the last couple of times. Hopefully they can break that trend tomorrow.

Looks like the Braves are going to lose another one to the Phillies today. Down 4-1 in the 8th.

And when Colorado wins, Atlanta's elimination number will be down to 8.

Colorado looks like they're going to win. The Braves chances are getting smaller.
