Congratulations to WR Neil Wilson for breaking a school record tonight on a 90 yard touchdown pass from QB Jackson Arnett and also for being named offensive player of the game.

Congratulations also to Trevor Witty for being named defensive player of the game.

Big night for the falcons as they move to 3-0 on the year. Great job guys!!!!!!

Go Roe Go!!!!!

Good game tonight by the Falcons. Monroe was up 39-0 at the half, so the JV got some quality time in as well. Game seemed to last forever with the injury of two Adair Co. players, one injured player had to lay on the field for about 20mins waiting on paramedics. something about that doesn't seem right to me, it also doesn't seem right to me that our head coach seemed to be more concerned about the injured player than their HC but I guess that’s an Adair Co. problem not ours. Good luck to both those players in their recovery, I hope it's a speedy one...

Neil finished the night/half with 3 catches for 137 yards and 2 TD's. Not bad...

Good win for Monrole CO. If you haven't seen them play they are the real deal. Iam Adair Co. fan but i knew that we didn't stand a chance against Monrole. As for the injured players Dustin Graves broken ankle Thompson injured leg dont know much about him. Good luck to Monrole the rest of the season. Congrads to Neil on the record.

People this game wasn't even close! 14-0 in the first 3 minutes. Adair was grossly outmatched, as far as the Head coach from Adair, I really feel that if he cared about his players he would have been on the field instantly when they went down. Not strolling out as if he was going for the coin toss. The second player that went down was starting qb and the coach threw his head set twice before he even got out to the player. Not very proffesional in my opinion! That player laid on the field with Monroes coaches taking more concern with him than HC from adair that was calling a team meeting on the field. He was laying there with a broke ankle and only one coach from adair tending to him for a very long time untill an ambulance arrived.

Anyways, sorry for the rambling, great game falcons!! 39-0 at half and the starters didn't see the field again!:D

Congratulations Monroe County Falcons!!!

Good job Monroe County. Looks like another tough district this year, with you all, Green, and Glasgow all with 3 wins apiece.

Go Falcon's!

Hope Adair players will have a good recovery from their injuries. Ballgame over in first few minutes with TD by Neil and fumble recovery for TD. Barren always plays hard against Monroe so look for a good game. Congrats to Neil on school record pass catch for TD. Though Jackson looked his best throwing the ball this year. I cannot wait for each Friday to see thsi team play.

The Coach threw his headset because the quarterback that was injured was his SON, who was not able to play last year due to a back injury, and has now lost the rest of his senior year due to a broken ankle.

Coach Graves is a class act, and I am sure it was the parent in him that was so upset because his son will not get to play his full senior season of football.

In regards to the paramedics, I was told that at their were two wrecks in Columbia that happened at the same time of the injury. In small town Columbia, there are only four paramedics on duty at a time (with all four working wrecks) and they had to wait on the "on call" people to arrive. Not an excuse, but a matter of happenstance.

Good Luck Monroe, You all have a fine team. Wish I would be able to see the Roe/Green game later this season, but wont be able to.

Thanks for clearing that up. It's easy to understand why Coach Graves was so upset considering it was his son. Good luck to Adair Co. the rest of the season...

:rolleyes:That explains a lot, very sorry for the incorrect view of Adair Co's coach. That really bites about his son, you only get one senior year...Good luck Adair!!
