Are there 8 teams left after Friday? Four in the winner's bracket and four in the consolation bracket?

 

If so, is it safe to say that the biggest upset so far is the elimination of Christian County?

That is true and also North Laurel going out so soon is an upset.

I agree that both are upsets. I think Christian County is more of an upset, being ranked #1. But either way, I would not have predicted that either of them would not be playing on Saturday.

 

Also there are 8 teams left, 4 in each bracket. 3 of the favorites are still alive in Mercy, Allen Co Scottsville and O'Cath.

North Hardin is a solid hitting squad, and makes for a nice dark horse possibility. Any updates on their 9 a.m. game with O'Cath?
