June 11, 200917 yr People get crazy during these draft things. Meeks has some real flaws (by NBA standards) that prevent him from being a first rounder, IMO. His athleticism is average. He's a streaky shooter. His ball-handling isn't that great and I question his ability to create his own shot at the next level. That's not the scouting report for a first round pick. And, I'm not sure how much that will change in a year. So, the question becomes...go now in a weaker draft class or try to improve and go against a deeper class? I think he should go now. As a UK fan, I'd like to see him back, but I'm OK with it either way. I'm content with what we'll have either way. Couldn't agree more. :thumb:
