I also was always inclined to be pro-Republican. In fact, to this day, when hearing the typical Bush-bashing, I'm always inclined to defend, when in fact the former President did very little to my approval. I see people do it all the time on here as well. Just the way we was conditioned, I guess. I'm trying to look at things for what they are, not who propose them, though.

I tend to play "devil's advocate" and try to see issues from different perspectives. I don't agree with every libertarian view point, but my core political beliefs are in line with the libertarian party.

I hate to get in your face, but if you left the R Party because of one man, then I have to question your committment to the R Party principles/platform (and I agree with you whole heartedly that Rush is a pompous blow hard; but keep in mind he's an entertainer trying to light up the call in phones and his ratings). People seem to forget he's an entertainer and make him out to be the leader of the R Party. He's not; neither is Hannity.
