Owensboro 7 Daviess County 4

Pretty big upset in the opening round of the 9th District as #18 Daviess County falls.

Owensboro was 6-14 going into that game...but had quality wins over Owensboro Catholic and St.X. They were certainly better than their record suggested.

Apollo has to face Owensboro Catholic and will likely see Cole Sturgeon on the mound. Very possible that they could be upset as well. Strugeon has already beat them this season. 9th district baseball is always tough.
