PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 8-0 Lakers. Denver don't want none of that...... Just playing, just playing.....
HammerTime Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Every team that won the 1st quarter in the other 6 games went on to win the game.
PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Fisher's getting hot..... 17-6 Lakers 3:19 left in 1st quarter.
BigSpikes Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Rockets need to calm down a bit, Gasol is looking good today. He must have been reading some of the message boards lately. Haha.
PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Every team that won the 1st quarter in the other 6 games went on to win the game. I hope that stays true to course... 22-12 Lakers End of 1st quarter.
PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Pau needs to go to a defensive big man camp or something. How tall is Carl Landry to be scoring on him like that? The Rockets took it to the post on 4 straight plays on Pau and Pau got scored on on 3 of the 4 plays.
PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 I'd like to see less attempts at playmaking by Kobe and more shooting myself. He had a layup when he passed it to Odom for the missed dunk by Odom.
BigSpikes Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Jeff Van Gundy said Pau Gasol was the best Second Option in the NBA. I'll take Ginobli, Amare and Chauncey Billups
PurplePride92 Posted May 17, 2009 Author Posted May 17, 2009 Jeff Van Gundy said Pau Gasol was the best Second Option in the NBA. I'll take Ginobli, Amare and Chauncey Billups 2 of those guys were done for the year and their teams are no longer playing, one of which didn't make it to the playoffs, and Amare is the number 1 option in Phoenix. You could make a good argument for Chauncey, or Melo depending on who you think is the leader or number 1 option in Denver. Melo has been there, but who is responsible for the Nuggets being as good as they are? I'd probably take the Denver tandem as the best second option, but I can understand why JVG said what he said. Pau had a great regular season and has flourished along side of Kobe.
CatsCatsCats Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 I think they should take Artest out. This is probably the worst performance I've ever seen from him. He just won't quit shooting. Brooks and Scola have been terrible.
HammerTime Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Gotta have Bynum to have a good game here. When he is good the Lakers just won't lose.
