Geoff Cody should be the no brainer choice. Hes waited his turn as an assistant while preparing to be head coach.

I don't know much at all about Geoff Cody, probably a very good candidate, but I think Juan would be a much better fit for the conditions at PHS, and would be such a plus for the community. He did a very good job at FHS, and I believe he was the coach of the year that year. The area still has some talent, but not alot of interest over the past few years, Juan could bring it back.

 

If he was the coach of the year, why is he coaching middle school ball now?

That's the million dollar question: why has there been such a talent drop off with Bourbon/Paris in the last decade? Never thought it would dip this low! Look how may D-1 players came out of Bourbon/Paris before the dip in talent.

Who was the last D-1 player to come out of the area? I know Preston LeMaster (SP)signed at UK, but he was he the last one?
