These two teams have no common opponents. Can anybody offer some insight into this matchup.

Does Bethlehem have any ace pitchers?

HC seems to have the never give up attitude. Being down late in 2 games and coming back to win to get to Applebees. They seem solid throughout the lineup but not very deep. I wonder how they will set the pitching. Not sure they need to throw Roeneker the first game.

Tourney seems wide open with defending champ O-Cath getting beat.

HC can hit the ball well, especially clutch hitting. They can also go deep into pitching with a small army of pitchers that are capable of good things. But I do not know how they will set their rotation.

I think ever since the Beechwood All A game HC's hitting came alive. Also I think that them winning that game gave them a huge confidence boost and has really showed how much heart them boys at HC have.

I see HC taking this one as long as the come out playing from the start, instead of waiting until the 6th inning. The Eagles have some good hitters, but I believe HC's pitching will prevail in this one.

Holy Cross will probably see Nick Carrick. He's allowed 3 ERs in the last 28 innings (four CG wins). The Eagles have won their last seven games (haven't heard the results of tonight's district game at Washington Co., but Bethlehem won the prior two meetings this season), and are riding a nice confidence streak after coming from behind twice Friday to knock off traditional district kingpin Nelson Co.

 

Bethlehem's pretty solid defensively, and have three-year starters up the middle. A lot of seniors; they've been hitting the ball well lately all over the lineup.

Roenker will more than likely throw for the Indians on Saturday. They threw him today against Dixie and said they are lining him up for the All A game.

The Legends are out of town next weekend as well, so I would expect they'd try to play it then. After that, I'd say it gets cancelled, since we're running so close to district and region tourney time.
