April 22, 200917 yr I'm sorry, thats the way I feel about the football team, I'm an Alabama fan and in 1966 they tied one for the Gipper and finished 9-0-1 and won the NC, we were 11-0 and didn't, so I'm a honest person and have very little respect for their football status and the way the media/their fans treat them Backhanded? Look up Nick Saban in the history when he was hired at Bama and what he was being paid comments... There is a book written three years ago called "The Missing Ring". If you wish I'll start a thread on nd, at least I added them to my thread post. Are we off Wang or what?

So its okay for you to downgrade them and their tradition but you bristle when Red Sox (or other teams fans) who have no reason to like the Yankees don't pay the proper respect to their exalted status? April 22, 200917 yr He only won 8 games last year. He was 8-2 with a 4.07 ERA in 15 starts. The two prior years he won 19. In '06, he was 19-6 with a 3.63 ERA and 1 save. In '07, he was 19-7 with a 3.70 ERA. In the three years prior to this one, his combined record was 46-15. I'll take a guy who averages 15-5 with an ERA under 4 for five mil.

You yourself admitted you abbreviated Notre Dame as nd while posting all the other traditional programs by proper name due to a personal bias while asking for respect for the Yankees tradition. Just stating facts. Weren't these your words when you explained why you used a little nd to represent Notre Dame? Yet earlier you said this: "Yankees....There are a bunch of Yankee haters on here who do not respect Yankee tradition, just trying to save you some time. I've been a Yankee fan since 1960. Have traveled to see them in person, have many books on them, and a bunch of Ruth/Mantle cards." Did you type both of these posts? If so aren't you asking for respect for the Yankee tradition while discounting Notre Dame's tradition?
