Jones is a complete stud. He continues to impress me.

Jones for Bellevue had an impressive shot over the left field fence. But I do believe his weakness was discovered - I noticed that he has problems with the out side pitch - something he will have to work on before pitchers catch on to it. Klaas had a good shot as well and pitched a descent game. Newport is improving as the season goes on and if they can manage to add a pitcher or two in their rotation they will be a stronger team.

You're right - a home run shot. Hunter has a good bat and glove but he is no the team. Bellevue has a lot of solid players that have been playing sports together for a log time. You have Mayes, Snider, Combs, Barrett, Hegge, and a lot more (just to name a few). I could go on with more but it would be useless - they are solid and have the ability to go as far as they choose. Now, Newport from what I've seen lately is starting to show their potential and could finish the season with some promise. Overall, both teams play hard and show a lot of respect for each other. Best of luck to both teams with the remainder of the season.
