Haven't been able to follow to much early on, just wondering how Cooper and Coach B are doing.

Their defense was surprisingly good the first two games for such a young team. I think they only had one error. Their last game against Lloyd didn't look as good but the field may have had a little to do with it. Their bats against the other teams starter has been struggling but they have been able to hit some of the relievers coming in. Their pitching is not over powering at all but have thrown strikes for the most part and with the good defense they have at least been able to play 7 innings They have a good core of Soph's and have been playing two 8th graders alot and they haven't hurt them at all so in a couple of years they may be fairly competitive. They could have won the Gallatin County game (runners 2nd and third, 1 one out in top of seven and tie score.... 2 K's) and they were up on Lloyd 4-3 in the 5th before falling apart. Coach Bieger has them working hard and they are fundamently sound, just YOUNG...

Coach Bieger is one of the best teachers of the fundamentals of the game in this region. I'm positive those young men will know how to execute and how to play the game before it's all said and done. Cooper will get bigger and stronger and wiser and will win alot baseball games very soon.

They will also know how to represent Cooper and to show respect for the game itself.

Your right on the money Clyde. Coach Bieger coaches the game of baseball and life! These kids will learn to represent themselves as student/athletes and learn the game of baseball without short cuts!:thumb:

My son likes the entire staff. There is some youth there in some coaches and they have some fun and coach Bieger makes sure they are doing things the right way and focused on the task at hand as well as giving them some moments to joke with each other. One other big plus is he told us at the parents meeting that no coaches have any ties to the current athletes and whoever deserves to play will play. I hear so many "political" issues at some other schools that make you shake your head. I personally know some kids at other schools and one gets moved up over the other when there is no way it should be happening, but one kids parents have know the coach for years and the other not. We are looking forward to that first victory!!!:thumb:

I had the privelage of playing for Coach B when he was at Scott and these kids will respect the game, have fun doing it, and work on the field untill it is the best looking field in KY. He is a great coach and guy and will have this program up and going and competitive before you know it.
