I mentioned in a different thread that someone said Connor didn't look real sharp on the mound. This from Mr. Skinner's article on nky.com

Connor said he didn't locate his pitches the way he wanted.

"My fastball felt real flat and my curveball wasn't working, but I threw strikes and the defense made some plays for me," said Connor.

Connor said he didn't locate his pitches the way he wanted.

looks like there was some hitting going on!!!!

Did Conner pitch the whole game? How many pitches did he throw? Just courious with him just coming out of basketball season.

83 pitches.

Who threw in relief?

Connor pitched 6 innings. Then TJ Showalter came in the 7th.

NCC looked very sharp in their first game of the season, and Connor (although he says he didn't locate pitches where he wanted) looked very good coming out of the basketball season.

Looks like Connor had a good day at the plate also. How did he do against Hunter Jones?

Jones went 3-3 against him, however, I don't remember anyone being on base when Jones was at-bat.
