Back in the early 80's I was caught dunking during warm ups as the refs were coming onto the floor and was assessed a "T" to start the game and the Christain County player dropped 2 free thows. Needless to say it turned out to be my worse nightmare! In the huddle, Coach Hallmark said "we had better not lose by 2 son" and we lost by "1". I felt really stupid and the entire city said we lost because of the techincal, so I can see where people are coming from albeit a different situation.

 

Those people in the city are not very intelligent.

They sell kleenex in large boxes at all stores. Stop and get some. Judgement calls have been involved in games (and missed calls) since the game was started. Did the team shoot 100% before that? Did they make any turnovers? It was a bad way to end, and I am sure the official has spent the rest of his career looking at that picture and feeling bad (even though there were only two then). Get over it. Get some kleenex, and get over it.
