Patterson/Wilson have played strong down low for Central both scoring and rebounding and Morrison outside from 3.

It looks like the Yellow Jackets watched the Ninth Region films of the NCC and Boone County games against Holmes, and saw how to beat them. Holmes has got to drive the basket and stop throwing (note I didn't say shoot casue they aren't shooting) the ball up from beyond the arch... Central just seems to want it more at the moment.

 

I agree! The TV folks have finally quit commenting that Tim Patterson is committed to UK! There's a "battle royale" brewing for this young man.

 

The Yellowjackets need to take care of the ball. The fact Holmes is playing so much zone tells me they are tired. I understood they were the "super fast" team that would outrun Central. The starting pistol better go off early in the third quarter for Holmes!

Central has clearly been the quicker team of the two and played much stronger early on.

I'm not quite sure what happend... But I believe the Holmes player grabbed and pulled on the Central players jersey.

Pittman grabbed the jersey of a Central player as he went to run after grabbing a rebound.
