Ballard will be good. The new coach with the no huddle offense will have another year under his belt. Ballard will be tough. Anyone know how many starters coming back?

Lost two GREAT (not just good) RB's (Perkins and Kirksey).

Lost entire starting OL except one (it averaged 6'3, 250...this year's will average 5'11, 220).

Lost two leading receivers (Dow and Williams).

Lost all 3 starting ILB's.

Lost first SEVEN on D-Line depth chart.

Return QB who got better as year went on last year.

Return Center who got time as a key reserve last year.

Return a couple of WR who got valuable experience last year in a supporting role.

Return entire Defensive Backfield -- all of whom could really play.

Kids have worked extremely hard in the off-season to gain some much-needed strength and size. Spring practice allowed some unknowns to emerge as potential players.

We have enjoyed hosting Ballard for camp at Greenup County. They will return home tomorrow.

CoachJ...Thanks for the update. Sounds as if you all have lost a lot of talent on boths sides of the ball. Good luck in 2009!

Good luck to you this year, Coach J! Hope to see you on the schedule here in Buckner soon!
