Just curious - who would be your frontrunner?

Didn't Boyd beat Ashland's JV? They beat Ashland's freshman team twice by at least 15 points both times.

Can't really remember who all is graduating for all 3 teams right off the top of my head but from what I can remember I'd probably go:

 

1. East

2a. & 2b - Ashland-Rowan

The success of JV and Freshman teams can be one indicator of future success, but it is not all that needs to be considered especially if looking at the next year's success. For some of the better teams, this season's Freshman and JV players may not see much if any time in next season's varsity games. A better indicator is the experience of any returning varsity players for the upcoming season.

Good point!! You don't regional championships during the summer but good teams AND good players can be made during the summer to win those championships!
